News Those of us who attended the monthly meeting last night quickly realized that we need to raise some money, in order for the club to be able to do any sort of equipment or trail maintenance this Summer. The closing dinner has to be a success to help this!

Reserve your seats now for the AVLRR Closing Dinner, Auction and Dance. April 10th.
$20 per person.
Great Meal
Live band. ( mix of country and classic hits )
Huge Silent and Live Auctions.

EVERYONE is encouraged to help us collect top quality items for the Auctions.

Announcements Here are the trail conditions.

Meet at KS 25 for Fun Poker Run, leaving together at noon Sunday. Bring along $$ for hand and 50/50.

Gates on rail line and other Valley trails are closed, will be reopened if enough snow falls, however this will take time so should a storm happen, be cautious!.

These trails refer to South Mtn portions of the trail only. Groomed, means, panned in most cases, washouts may still exist, ride with caution.

22 South from Johnson Pond to 99, Top groomed, can't make it to Diner.

101 from KS 33 (hooker Trail) to Crossburn area groomed

The loops of 5A, 4a and 4 near Chain Lakes have lots of snow, some groomed.
BUT #4 from KS 17 to KS29 is not groomed, rocky and wet holes, avoid this part of the #4.

95 Groomed

96 passable with wash out and bare spots on tops of hills

9 from Casey’s corner Irving to Fox Mtn. Some wash outs, partly groomed. NOTE there is a wet section in the woods between the 2 groomed parts, might be best to avoid that part of the trail. Head South at North River Rd KS 39 on trail #2.

3 power line area will be groomed over to 99

99 groomed

90 groomed

2 fromPower line to North River Rd on toward Lake Paul is groomed, some icey patches.

No report on #6 (new ross) we suspect passable with wash outs.
Stay OFF LAKES, watch for wash outs. Flag hazards

For Crossburn trails as reported:
Parking Lot east trails are good to fair, 101, 90, 4 to KS 17,and 5

101 Crossburn to Dalhousie Crossing impassable

10 Dalhousie Crossing to New Germany, bare

101 Dalhousie Crossing to Nictaux, unknow, believe to be fair

Joe Simon area unknow, believe to be good to fair

Nictaux to Middleton bare

NOTE, NO TRAIL TO BORDENS, tree lot bare, behind log cabin underwater, all lakes UNSAFE

POKER FUN RUN SUNDAY MARCH 7TH 2010, $5 A HAND, MEET AT THE LOON LAKE PARKING LOT, NEAR THE IRON GATE LAKE PAUL. WE WILL ALL LEAVE TOGETHER AT NOON (12:00) FOR AN AFTERNOON RIDE. DETAILS IN EVENTS SECTION

WE NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE POST TRIAL CONDITIONS IN SPECIFIC TRAILS SECTIONS IN THE FORUM, IT HELPS RIDERS AND GROOMERS MAKE THEIR PLANS.

The chairman of the Armstrong Lake Cottage Association out there , has already had a complaint of snowmobilers travelling at high rate of speed.This road is plowed and there is continuous motor vehicle traffic on it making it dangerous for sledders who speed or don’t pay attention.

Here are some interesting points you may not be aware of.

If you ever find offensive posts please PM Tammy Hines or Andrew Johnson. If the material is pornographic or very offensive please call Andrew at 679-5023 / 542 1999

You can edit your own post at anytime. By clicking on the edit button on the top right of your posted message and edit the copy. If you want to change or add photos etc, click on "Switch to Full Edit Form".

You can spell check your post by typing it first in a program like word perfect and then copy and paste it into the "post screen" Then you can add the color, Emoticons etc.

You can delete a post you make at anytime. By clicking on the "X" on the top right of your posted message. This will not have an effect on any other posts.

Readers can report a post to the moderators of the forum by clicking the blue box in the top right of any post. Reasons might include offensive language, or suggestions, excessive brand bashing, etc.

Sellers please mark your items as sold or delete to topic or let us know.
